Perched on the shores of Lake Chelan, the Lakeside Retreat was designed for year-round living, a home that feels connected to the lake in every season.

Working closely with Graham Baba Architects and the Felten Group, our team brought this vision to life through collaboration, precision, and craftsmanship. The result is a 3,600-square-foot home with expansive decks and a clean, modern design that makes the most of its steep, lakefront setting.

Built for Lakefront Living

A narrow lot required careful planning during construction. We built the home across three levels to work with the terrain, placing the main living spaces on the top floor to take full advantage of the lakefront setting. The lower levels were framed for private bedrooms and flexible spaces, creating quiet, comfortable areas for everyday living.

A Rooftop Retreat

At the top of the home sits a 740-square-foot rooftop deck, an open-air space for summer nights and morning coffee alike. To make it possible, our team planned every detail, from waterproofing with a continuous EPDM membrane to sealing every penetration and reinforcing the structure with engineered steel and tension ties. The result is a deck built to handle wind, weather, and snow, while maintaining a clean, modern look.

Built-In Craftsmanship

Every part of this home reflects custom craftsmanship. A built-in bunk room offers both function and charm, designed to stand up to family life while fitting seamlessly into the architecture. Inside, you’ll find clean-lined stairs, custom cabinetry, and precisely aligned siding that showcase Blu Water’s commitment to quality and detail.

Outside, the mix of natural wood and metal panels gives the home a refined, contemporary look that blends beautifully with its surroundings.
